New Feature: Payment Processing Account Volume Caps
OrderLogix has introduced a powerful new feature in its Payment Processing Accounts module: Volume Caps. This enhancement allows businesses to set daily and monthly processing limits, providing greater control over revenue processing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Features:
- Daily and Monthly Limits:
- Daily $ Cap: Set a maximum amount to be processed in a single day. Transactions exceeding this limit will be halted until the next day.
- Monthly $ Cap: Define a monthly processing limit. Once reached, no further transactions will be processed until the next month.
- Overage Allowance:
- $ Allowed Over Daily Cap: Specify an overage amount to allow for additional transactions beyond the daily cap. This ensures that high-value transactions can still be processed without interruption.
- Reset Day:
- Day of Month Reset: Choose the specific day of the month when the monthly processing limit resets, providing flexibility in managing transaction volumes.
- Visibility and Alerts:
- Batch Screen Details: Display current limits and processed amounts on the payment batch creation screen, with color-coded indicators (green for within limits, red for exceeded limits).
- Job Screen Details: Show processing volume details in job notes, ensuring transparency for users with access to job details.
- Transaction Management:
- Handling Limits: When limits are reached, remaining transactions are removed from the batch. “Auth and Settle” transactions can be processed through a different account, while “Settle Only” transactions are set back to “Available” for future processing.
- Customer Service Notes:
- CS Notes: Log details of removed transactions in the customer detail center, including Batch ID and Transaction ID, to maintain a clear record of unprocessed transactions.
This feature is designed to enhance financial control, improve transaction management, and ensure compliance with processing limits. By leveraging Volume Caps, businesses can optimize their payment processing workflows and maintain smooth operations even during peak transaction periods.
